| JoAnn is certified in both permanent makeup and corrective procedures. She attends advanced classes as often as possible to stay up to date with new procedures and equipment in the industry. She is a portrait artist, which gives her an edge in dealing with balance of the face, and in choosing color for her clients. She attended Cosmetology School, and has been doing professional makeup for well over 25 years. She has also been active in the entertainment industry for many years. JoAnn attended the International Institute of Permanent Cosmetics taught by Susan Church, founder of the Society of Permanent Cosmetic Professionals. Susan is recognized as an expert in her field and highly respected within the medical community. JoAnn had the distinguished pleasure of working on Dr. Rey of 90210 Beverly Hills, she used her skills for Scar Camouflage on the Doctor, and he has referred patients to JoAnn for Permanent Makeup since 2006. JoAnn worked in the Beauty Kliniek Day Spa and Wellness Center, rated San Diego’s best for over 2 years before moving to Lake Havasu City, Arizona. JoAnn opened Blondie's Hair and More Beauty Salon in 06, and was voted #1Tattoo Artist in Lake Havasu City for 2008. JoAnn has been a Tattoo Artist in the Beauty Industry now for 10 years. JoAnn mixes all of her color per client need, and JoAnn uses Pigments that do not change color after a few months in the skin. She carries liability insurance in both Arizona and California so that she can serve her clients in both states. JoAnn believes that the most important aspect of her career is that she really loves what she does. It gives her great pride to know that she has helped someone look their best, or just helped them get through the day with more self confidence. |
